Raised in Marion, Alabama, Attorney Asherica Heard developed a strong appreciation for community, hard work, and service to others at an early age — values that continue to shape both her personal life and legal practice today.
Attorney Heard began her education at Francis Marion High School and later graduated from Dallas County High School in 2009. She continued her academic journey at Wallace Community College Selma, where she earned both an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Science degree. She then attended Alabama State University, earning a degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Corrections.
Her professional career began with the State of Alabama following an internship with the Clerk's office in Marion. That opportunity led to her first state position and later to serving as a Judicial Assistant for a district judge. Through these experiences, Attorney Heard gained invaluable courtroom knowledge and firsthand insight into the legal system, ultimately inspiring her decision to pursue a career in law.
Attorney Heard earned her law degree from Birmingham School of Law in 2023. Today, she is proud to serve the same community that helped shape her journey, providing dedicate legal representation while advocating for and supporting individuals through challenging circumstances.
In addition to her legal practice, Attorney Heard is passionate about mentoring and encouraging local youth, believing strongly in the importance of investing in the next generation.
Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures and experiences, and spending time watching crime and legal drama series.
